Born in Bogotá, Colombia, Blanca relocated with her family to New York City at age 11. Receiving musical training in violin at “The Fame School” LaGuardia High School, González then went on to receive a Bachelor's Degree from The Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College, and a Master’s Degree from The Juilliard School in New York City.

Blanca has participated in a wide-range of musical projects and is accomplished in many styles of music including: classical, jazz, rock, Latin, world and pop. A taste of her eclectic collaborations include Arthur Vinnt and Associates, Synesthetics with pianist and composer Jesse Elder amongst others.
